Student Growth Percentiles

In the next few weeks, the NJ Department of Education will be populating the NJSMART program with the latest round of NJASK testing, completed last Spring.  NJSMART is the programming that the department has been building to maintain a complete data base on all students who attend schools in New Jersey.  The Student Growth Percentiles will show individual students growth as measured against their peers from around the state. The SGP will provide us with a more realistic snapshot of our students progress and will allow us to better serve our students by focusing curriculum changes and educational supports where they are needed. This should be good information for our use as we continue to monitor the progress of not only the school district, but each individual student in grades 3-8.

Till next time...
