The marking period is coming to a close on January 23rd... please contact your teachers if you have concerns about a studnets grades or behavior. I hate to sound as though I am passing the buck, but many times parents call me first concerning grades, classroom behavior, work submitted, etc... and it is always better to contact the teacher first. They are their with your son or daughter on the front lines and they know what transpires in the classroom. If you are not satisfied with the responses or the progress, then please call me to see how I might be able to help.
The first built-in snow day is approaching. If we do not have to use a snow day between this day and Friday, February 15th, we will NOT have school that day. That would mean a long weekend. If we do have to use a snow day between now and February 15th, we will have school. The school day would be an early dismissal day so that students and parents can get a head start on the long weekend. Early dismissal will be 1:00 pm and there will be after care until 6:00 pm.
